Il teleriscaldamento di Acqui Terme cerca di decarbonizzarsi
The article presents the Acqui Terme (IT) case study, part of the ENABLE DHC project. Located in the Piedmont region, in northern Italy, the city of Acqui Terme has a district heating network that runs primarily on natural gas. Project partners Ambiente Italia and OPTIT are working closely with local actors to tap into renewable energies available nearby, namely geothermal energy, since the city sits above thermal aquifers that can provide the needed heat for the DH system.
